Beginner Cabin-building workshop and more.

Summer is here and The MareGold Centre is having a number of workshops and events.

First off is the Authors Market at the Maregold Bookstore in Annapolis Royal on July 8th. Over 25 self-published authors will be on-hand to speak to the public and sell their publications directly. There will be music and a very diverse group of writers from across Nova Scotia. 12-4 on July 8th, and again on Aug 12.

On Sunday July 16th MareGold will host the beginner cabin building workshop. Have you always wanted to build your own cabin but don't know where to start? This workshop is for you. The class will cover; design, materials, tools, skills and much more. 6 hours and includes lunch. Perfect for tiny home owners, DIY builders and anyone who is a dreamer.

The following Sunday ( July 23rd) join artist and photographer Huguette Despault May for an overview and introduction into the wondrous world and challenges of close-up insect and botanical photography. Explore the vibrant world of close-up, where the MareGold field, forest & pond beckon.
